scoutsThe 22nd North Leeds (Hillel) Scout Group recently celebrated its 100th anniversary with a special ceremony at the National Jewish Scouting Fellowship’s biannual camp in Walesby Forest in Nottinghamshire, which was attended by 60 people from Leeds and 400 other Jewish Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Brownies, Guides and Leaders from Manchester, London and France. During the ceremony, a new centenary flag was presented to the troop by the district commissioner, a tree was presented to the campsite and Rabbi Jason Kleiman gave a short address to the troop. Former group leaders also joined in with the celebrations.
